Galaxy Z TriFold Geekbench Listing Shows Strong Performance

The Galaxy Z TriFold, Samsung’s first dual-hinge smartphone, was launched earlier this week. Now, the device has also appeared on the Geekbench database. The Galaxy Z TriFold comes with the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset inside. The CPU numbers look decent as expected.

The Geekbench 6 listing shows the device with the model number SM-F968N, which is the South Korean variant. The CPU scores are 2853 in the single-core test and 8501 in the multi-core test. It carries the build info F968NKSU1AYK8. The listing also confirms 16GB RAM and Samsung’s latest One UI 8 based on Android 16.

The Snapdragon 8 Elite already powers Samsung’s flagship lineup this year, including the Galaxy S25 series. So, the numbers are in line with existing devices. Performance should remain consistent, even with the new tri-fold form factor.
Samsung has focused heavily on design with the Galaxy Z TriFold. It is extremely thin at 3.9mm at its thinnest point. It unfolds into a large 10 inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. This provides a tablet-like experience that fits in the pocket. It carries a premium build with a dual-hinge system and equips the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset, as mentioned above. Samsung has also finally included a charging brick in the box with the TriFold. It is the first Samsung foldable to support 45W fast charging. Also, it carries the biggest battery on a Galaxy foldable yet. The device is also capable of running Samsung DeX directly on the device.
The Galaxy Z TriFold will launch first in South Korea on December 12. Later, it will be available in regions like China, UAE, Taiwan, Singapore, and the United States. The price is expected to be around $2500, which is on the higher side.
Disclaimer: However, it is still not fully confirmed whether this Geekbench entry is genuine. Recently, several rooted devices have spoofed themselves as unreleased Samsung models and uploaded fake benchmark scores. The Galaxy A77 and A37 were recent examples, so this listing should be viewed with caution.
