Samsung is actively working on One UI 8.5. Over the past few weeks, test builds have been spotted for several Galaxy devices across different segments. Now, the testing has expanded to more devices, including the Galaxy F17 5G, Galaxy M17 5G, and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series.

One UI 8.5 builds for Galaxy F17, M17, and Tab S9 FE series spotted on test server

The Galaxy F17 5G is the first F series phone to be spotted with a One UI 8.5 test build. The new firmware has appeared on Samsung’s test servers in India, carrying the build version E176BXXU3CYL5. As usual, this does not mean the update will roll out soon. It only confirms that Samsung has started internal testing for the device.

At the same time, its sibling device, the Galaxy M17 5G, has also appeared on test servers in India. It carries the build version M176BXXU3CYL5. Just a day earlier, the Galaxy M54 became the first M series phone to appear with a One UI 8.5 test build. More budget models from the M series should join the list soon.

In the tablet segment, Samsung has begun One UI 8.5 testing for the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+. As spotted by tipster Alfatürk, the latest internal test builds for these devices carry firmware version DYL2 (last four characters). Both tablets have been spotted on test servers in regions like India, Europe, Turkey, and Korea. Earlier, the standard Galaxy Tab S9 lineup was the first tablet series to appear with One UI 8.5 builds.

Samsung continues to expand One UI 8.5 testing across different device categories. If your Galaxy device is eligible for One UI 8.5 and has not yet appeared with a test build, it should be spotted soon. The stable One UI 8.5 update will roll out for eligible models in the first half of next year.
