Samsung makes a range of phones for markets around the world. Some of these are market-specific, such as the Galaxy F series and Galaxy M series. Leaks have long suggested that Samsung would soon take the wraps off the Galaxy F17 5G, which is expected to be a rebranded version of the Galaxy A17 5G. Even though Samsung hasn’t officially launched the Galaxy F17 5G in India yet, a retailer has already listed the phone for sale.

Here’s your first look at the Galaxy F17 5G out in the wild!

Via a phone retailer page on Instagram, we can see that the Galaxy F17 5G has already hit third-party store shelves. It will likely come in three colors: black, gray, and blue. The box resembles the Galaxy A17 5G and looks slim. But given that the Galaxy A17 5G comes with a charger in the box, does the Galaxy F17 5G follow? Based on the box contents listed on the back, it doesn’t seem so. The MRP is INR 16,499, but expect bank offers when it officially launches.

The box also mentions that it gets a triple camera setup on the back, which will likely include a 50MP wide sensor, a 2MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. The main sensor is said to support OIS. In addition, it gets a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display.

A previous leak detailed that it will launch exclusively on Flipkart, as with other Galaxy F series phones in India. According to the same leak, it will ship with One UI 7 and offer six years of software updates. The leak also suggested that it will come in two variants: 128GB storage with 4GB RAM and 128GB with 6GB RAM. The former was said to be priced at INR 14,499 and the latter at INR 15,999. The listing we see now is likely for the latter variant.

The listing confirms several key specifications and pricing details ahead of the official announcement. Most likely, Samsung will make an official announcement in the coming days.
