Samsung is pushing out the June 2025 patch to more and more devices (and markets!). Now, Samsung is rolling out the June 2025 security update to the Galaxy S24 series in Europe. It comes just a few days after Samsung rolled out the June 2025 patch to the Galaxy S24 series in the US, following South Korea.
Europe Galaxy S24 units receive the June 2025 security update
Shared by Tarun Vats on X, the June 2025 security update is now live for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra in Europe. It comes with the firmware build number S92*BXXS4BYEC and weighs in at just under 500MB. If the update isn’t available for you or in your region yet, it’ll likely arrive shortly.

If you’re in Europe and own a Galaxy S24 series device, you can go ahead and install it. Just head to Settings > Software update > Download and install. It’s generally recommended to download the update over Wi-Fi and ensure your device has sufficient battery. For extra safety, you can follow some basic update tips.
The June 2025 security patch fixes more than 60 vulnerabilities. Out of which, 36 of them Android-related, with the rest being Samsung-specific. Updating to the latest build helps keep your device secure, so it’s a good idea to grab the update as soon as it’s available.
That said, the Galaxy S24 series is also next in line for the One UI 8 beta program. While the beta has expanded to more regions, it currently remains exclusive to the Galaxy S25 series (excluding the Galaxy S25 Edge). Still, there’s a good chance we’ll see the One UI 8 beta land on the Galaxy S24 series soon. Perhaps in the next few days.
