Behind the scenes, Samsung is working on at least two new devices that may be launching soon. We’re talking about the Galaxy A17 5G and the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, both of which were recently spotted on the FCC and have now also appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).

Galaxy A17 5G was recently spotted on BIS, bearing the model number SM-A176B/DS. The “DS” here indicates dual SIM support. Interestingly, the same model number has appeared in several other certifications in recent days, suggesting that the launch is drawing closer.

In addition, BIS has listed two upcoming tablets under the model numbers SM-X400 and SM-X406B, which are believed to be the Wi-Fi and cellular variants of the upcoming Galaxy Tab S10 Lite.

These listings strongly suggest that both devices are nearing an official launch. Current expectations point to a release sometime between July and September. So you can expect them in the third quarter of the year. Leaks surrounding both devices have been surfacing recently, and they’ve revealed a fair bit about what to expect.

Starting with the Galaxy A17 5G, it appears that Samsung won’t be increasing the battery capacity compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy A16 5G. However, there are rumors that it will feature a 50MP main camera with OIS (optical image stabilization). It is also expected to continue support for 25W charging (9V / 2.77A).

As for the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, it’s tipped to feature 45W fast charging and an 8,000mAh battery. Under the hood, it may be powered by the Exynos 1380 processor, paired with 6GB of RAM. There’s also a strong chance that they will launch running Android 16-based One UI 8 right out of the box.
