Looks Like Galaxy Z Fold 7 Won’t Bring S Pen Support, At All

Samsung will take the wraps off the Galaxy Z Fold 7 at an event tomorrow in New York. Pre-orders will kick off right after the launch, so you’ll be able to book yours soon. Ahead of the big reveal, a bunch of promo materials has leaked, spilling the beans on just about everything related to the upcoming devices.
Galaxy Z Fold 7 may bid adieu to the S Pen
Reliable leaker Roland Quandt is on a roll lately, and his latest batch of leaks leaves very little to the imagination. You can check out all the leaked promo materials here. But the biggest leak of all, the one that deserves a bit more attention, is some bad news for S Pen fans.

Whether or not the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will support the S Pen has always been a bit of a mystery. Rumors have gone back and forth, making it hard to pin down the truth. But now, things are finally starting to come into focus, if Quandt’s latest info is accurate. Based on what he’s shared, it’s looking increasingly likely that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will not support the S Pen at all.
The leaked promo materials make no mention of S Pen support, which was available in previous Fold models. Earlier versions required users to purchase the stylus separately and carry it in specially designed cases, but even that setup may not be returning this time. Why Samsung would drop the feature is unclear.
That said, there are a few possible reasons. One could be that not many people were actually using the S Pen on their Galaxy Z Folds. That’s just a guess, but Samsung hinted at something similar when it removed the S Pen from the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Still, if the trade-off is a thinner and sleeker Fold 7, that might help make up for the missing stylus in some ways. What do you think? Worth the compromise?
