Galaxy A17 5G and Tab S10 Lite Clear FCC, Key Specs Revealed

Samsung has a major hardware launch event coming up on July 9, with new foldables and smartwatches in the pipeline. Behind the scenes, the company is quietly working on its next wave of mid-range launches. The Galaxy A17 5G and Galaxy Tab S10 Lite recently obtained FCC certifications. These early listings revealed a few key specs ahead of their official debut in the coming months.
Samsung secures FCC certifications for the Galaxy A17 5G and Tab S10 Lite
Samsung is developing the Galaxy A17 5G with the model number SM-A176 and the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite with the model numbers SM-X400 (Wi-Fi version) and SM-X406 (5G Version). The FCC recently certified both of these devices, clearing the way for their launch in the US. Documents found on the FCC database reveal their charging speed and other specs (thanks, @KeepUPwithOneUI).
As expected, the Galaxy A17 5G supports 25W charging (9V / 2.77A) and comes in a dual-SIM variant. It boasts NFC, Wi-Fi 5, and a wide range of LTE and 5G bands. The listing reveals no other notable information, at least not that really matters to consumers. However, this certification indicates that Samsung has ramped up the development of this budget handset for official launch.
As far as the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite is concerned, the FCC has only certified its Wi-Fi version. This premium mid-range tablet offers 45W charging (10V / 4.5A) and appears to support Wi-Fi 6E. The device features a micro SD slot and at least one camera on the front and back. It supports the S Pen and comes with Pogo pins for keyboard accessories.
Samsung may launch the Galaxy A17 5G and Galaxy Tab S10 Lite in the coming months. The company also has the Galaxy S25 FE, Galaxy Buds 3 FE, and more new products in the pipeline for the second half of 2025. Expect more leaks about these devices as their official launch draws closer.
