UPDATE 02/13 3PM ET: The Galaxy A27 has appeared in the GSMA IMEI database in both US and international variants as of February 13 (via Erencan Yılmaz). The original report, published on February 9, follows below:

The Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 are expected to launch very soon, likely within the next two months. Both devices have already appeared in CAD renders, certification listings, and Samsung’s test servers. This clearly suggests that their launch is getting closer. However, the Galaxy A27, expected to succeed the Galaxy A26, may either get delayed or canceled this year.

Galaxy A27 shows no signs of launching anytime soon

Samsung usually follows a clear pattern before launching a new device. This process often starts six months or even earlier. It includes IMEI database listings, Bluetooth SIG approvals, government certifications, test server spottings, and Geekbench scores. These signs help confirm that a device is moving closer to launch. So far, none of these have appeared for the Galaxy A27.

There have been no IMEI database sightings for the Galaxy A27 so far. This is usually the first solid sign of an upcoming Galaxy phone, since these databases tend to reveal model numbers early. If the Galaxy A27 were in development, some trace would likely have appeared by now.

A few months ago, rumors claimed Samsung was working on the Galaxy A27, with a possible launch alongside the Galaxy A37 and A57. However, there is still no evidence across test servers, certifications, or IMEI databases. That makes a joint release with the A37 and A57 increasingly unlikely.

This strongly suggests that a device with the model number SM-A276* is not launching anytime soon, at least not before August or September 2026. The lack of early signals is hard to ignore, and unless something changes quickly, the Galaxy A27 is unlikely to launch alongside the A37 and A57, or arrive this year at all.
