Samsung Galaxy A57 Spotted on Test Server Ahead of Launch

Samsung has started internal testing of the upcoming Galaxy A57, hinting that its official launch is getting closer. Successor to the Galaxy A56, the device is expected to arrive between March and April next year. It will lead the company’s 2026 mid-range lineup.
Samsung starts testing its next mid-range king
The Galaxy A5x series is one of Samsung’s most popular mid-range phones, known for offering a great balance of performance, features, and price. The upcoming Galaxy A57 will continue that legacy with solid specs and design upgrades. The company is hard at work on the device, with internal testing now underway.
As spotted by Akhilesh Kumar, Samsung is testing One UI software for the Galaxy A57 with the build number A576BXXU0AYJ7. The internal build surfaced on the company’s test server in Europe and Turkey. Carrying the model number SM-A576B, this marks the first appearance of the device on a test server.
The Galaxy A57 is likely to come with Samsung’s Exynos 1680 chip and XClipse 550 GPU. It may offer up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, providing smooth performance and plenty of space for everyday use.
Samsung might also upgrade the cameras compared to the Galaxy A56. The latest model features a 50MP main, 12MP ultra-wide, and 5MP macro camera. The macro lens feels outdated, so the A57 could feature an improved setup. On the front, it may retain the 12MP selfie camera.
When it comes to software support, Samsung might offer up to six years of Android OS updates for the Galaxy A57, in line with its latest update policy. If that happens, and the device launches with Android 16, it will receive updates all the way up to Android 22 (One UI 16).
While the specifications and features are yet to be confirmed, the Galaxy A57 is shaping up to be another promising mid-range option from Samsung’s popular A-Series lineup.
