Pixel 10 Launch Confirmed for August 20 at Made by Google 2025
After a bunch of leaks over the last few weeks, Google has finally announced the launch date for the Pixel 10 series. Made by Google 2025 is set for August 20, about a month from now. The event will take place in New York. Right on schedule, Google has now started sending out press invites.
Google will take the wraps off Pixel 10 series and more on August 20
Google says it’ll show off “the latest on our Pixel phones, watches, buds, and more.” That all but confirms we’ll see the Pixel 10 series, Pixel Watch 4, and a new pair of Pixel buds launch. Previous leaks have already revealed that the Pixel 10 lineup will include the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

As for the Pixel Watch 4, it reportedly won’t feature a new processor. But we could see a larger battery this time around. It’s also expected to come in two sizes again. There’s not much known about new Pixel Buds.
The Pixel 10 series is switching to TSMC for the Tensor G5 chip, ditching Samsung in the process. That move should be confirmed during the keynote. But some reliable sources suggest that even with the TSMC switch, the modem inside the chip will still come from Samsung.
While the Pixel 10 Pro Fold likely won’t match the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in terms of looks, there’s still something worth noting. It’s rumored to have an IP68 rating for full dust and water resistance, something the Galaxy Z Fold 7 doesn’t offer. It’d be also be interesting to see how these two would compete.
You can watch the keynote live on YouTube on August 20 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. We’re expecting more details during the event, especially around the Material 3 Expressive redesign and anything else Google decides to tease. There’s also a chance we’ll hear more about Google’s upcoming XR devices, which stole the spotlight during I/O 2025. Stay tuned.
