Pixel 10 Series May Feature a Samsung Modem, Hints FCC Filing
In the coming weeks, Google will launch the Pixel 10 series, which is no longer a secret. So much so that nearly every detail about the upcoming Pixel flagship phones has been revealed. That also includes live images leaked during an ad shoot. Most recently, the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL have appeared on the FCC’s website. That also confirms their imminent arrival.
It looks like Pixel 10 family will indeed have a Samsung Exynos modem inside
Upon reviewing the FCC filing, Android Authority reports that the Pixel 10 series might feature a Samsung modem. This possibility was already on the horizon after reports emerged suggesting that the Tensor G5 chip would likely include the Samsung Exynos 5400 modem.

More specifically, the full chip configuration of an alleged Pixel 10 Pro prototype recently leaked, courtesy of Mystic Leaks. According to the leak, the chip will have a configuration of 2x Cortex-A520, 3x Cortex-A725, 2x Cortex-A725, and 1x Cortex-X4 CPU cores. The baseband string mentioned “g5400,” which strongly points to the inclusion of the Exynos 5400 modem inside Pixel 10 family.
Besides the chipset details, the filings confirm some anticipated hardware features. The Pixel 10 Pro XL includes wireless charging, Wi-Fi 6E, Thread support for smart home integration, and ultra-wideband (UWB) technology, which is useful for precision tracking and short-range data exchange. The Pixel 10 Pro offers similar features, while the base Pixel 10 model forgoes Thread and UWB support.
All three models also mention satellite connectivity, likely building on the non-terrestrial network (NTN) support introduced with the Pixel 9 series. This suggests that Google remains committed to enhancing emergency features and future-proofing its devices, especially for use in areas with poor or no signal coverage.
