Yet Another Case Maker Lists Galaxy S26 Ultra Accessories

In any case, there are a few months until Samsung pulls the wraps off the Galaxy S26 Ultra. We’ve already seen CAD-based renders from one of the credible sources, and today we had our look at a real-looking image of Galaxy S26 Ultra via a case maker. Now, we’ve spotted another listing, which explains a key detail.
Galaxy S26 Ultra accessories pop up in early case listings
On Amazon, a case maker has listed the accessories for the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra in four colorways. It’s not unusual for case makers to make such listings live month in prior, given they generally have some info about the dimensions, courtesy of supply chain sources. First, have a look at the Galaxy S26 Ultra cases, and then we can talk about what it gives away.
Now, the latest Amazon listing gives us another clue about the Galaxy S26 Ultra. While the cases are available in four colorways, there’s still no mention of MagSafe compatibility. This suggests that manufacturers may not have received, or are only now receiving, the official MagSafe specifications for the device (thanks, Larry!).
On a related note, Nothing may have revealed why Samsung phones don’t have Qi2 wireless charging standard yet. To clarify, the latest Galaxy S25 phones are Qi2 ready, meaning they require additional accessory.
Qi2 uses magnets for precise coil alignment, enabling faster, more efficient charging with less heat. In theory, it could unify wireless charging across devices, but adoption has been slow due to patents, legal restrictions, and high development costs. According to Nothing, creating a new magnetic system could cost around $10 million, with no guarantee of optimal performance.
Therefore, much of that’s to be blamed on legal limitations rather than technical. Notably, Samsung was sending out surveys in July, one of which asked if you’d prefer Qi2 support even if that phone made thicker. But there’s no follow up so far.
