Our Best Look Yet at the Galaxy S26 Ultra in Leaked Renders

Ah, here we go again. It’s that time of year when leaks about Galaxy S series start to materialize. We’ve already seen the Galaxy S26 Pro and Galaxy S26 Edge (and even the Galaxy S26 Ultra, briefly). But now we have a much clearer look at the Galaxy S26 Ultra in newly leaked renders.
Take a closer look at the Galaxy S26 Ultra in detailed renders!
Folks over at Android Headlines, in conjunction with OnLeaks, have shared detailed CAD renders of Samsung’s next flagship, the Galaxy S26 Ultra. At first glance, the Galaxy S26 Ultra looks quite similar to last year’s Galaxy S25 Ultra. You can chalk that up to its flat edges and rounded corners. What stands out, however, is that the Galaxy S26 Ultra might be bringing back the camera island.

The outlet notes that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will measure 7.9mm thick, which matches what we exclusively revealed over a month ago. This means Samsung is indeed making the Galaxy S26 Ultra slimmer than its predecessor (8.2mm), made possible by a camera island that protrudes about 4.5mm.

There are some changes, but nothing too drastic
The S Pen is still included, but it now sits at the far edge of the bottom left corner. To accommodate the thinner frame, Samsung has reshaped the S Pen’s clicker end. Other than that, there are a few minor design changes, especially around the rear cameras. The Galaxy S26 Ultra’s fourth camera sits outside the main camera island, protruding directly from the flat backplate. Above it are the LED flash and an additional sensor cutout.
Having said that, Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S26 trio in early 2026. They will run Android 16-based One UI 8.5 from day one. Under the hood, the Galaxy S26 Ultra may come with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, while the Galaxy S26 Pro and Galaxy S26 Edge may get the Exynos 2600.
