Samsung Unveils Galaxy Z Flip 7 Olympic Edition for Milano Cortina 2026 Athletes

Samsung has launched a special edition of its Galaxy Z Filip 7 for athletes competing at the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026. Dubbed the Galaxy Z Flip 7 Olympic Edition, the foldable will be provided to nearly 3,800 Olympians and Paralympians from around 90 countries. The device is not available for sale, though the company is currently offering a flat $200 discount on the regular Galaxy Z Flip 7.

Galaxy Z Flip 7 Olympic Edition to elevate the athlete’s Games-time experience

Starting with the design, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 Olympic Edition features a fresh look for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games. The device comes in a blue color back glass inspired by Italian azure, reflecting the spirit of unity and sportsmanship. It also features a gold metal frame symbolizing excellence and podium success.

Furthermore, Samsung offers a clear protective case with a blue circular magnet and gold laurel leaves. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 Olympic Edition also packs a special Olympic Winter Games-themed wallpaper. On top of that, the phone integrates Galaxy AI with an edge-to-edge FlexWindow, allowing athletes to use key features using one hand.

For photography, the device features a 50MP wide unit and a 12MP ultrawide lens on the back. After taking photos, athletes can use the Photo Assist tool to erase objects, adjust angles, improve backgrounds, and more. The phone also supports Dual Recording, which captures moments in a single shot with both the selfie and rear cameras. The On-device Interpreter offers real-time language translation, while the Now Brief delivers personalized daily updates.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 Olympic Edition packs a host of apps and services. For example, the Athlete365 app offers performance and mental health support, while the Samsung Wallet provides access to digital passes and services. Athletes will also get a 100GB 5G eSIM. Samsung will begin distributing the Galaxy Z Flip 7 Olympic Edition at Olympic Villages starting January 30, 2026.
