Samsung maintains a wide ecosystem of apps for Galaxy users, regularly updating them with new features and improvements. The company recently pushed fresh updates for several apps, including those supporting Samsung Wallet and Galaxy Buds, along with a new release for Expert RAW. If you use these apps, install the new versions as soon as they become available.

Several important Samsung apps receive new updates ahead of One UI 8.5 beta release

Samsung Wallet is one of the most feature-rich wallet apps out there. It can make digital payments and store a wide range of digital information, including IDs, vouchers, boarding passes, and car keys. Recently, Samsung updated the two system apps handling the digital key feature with Samsung Wallet. These updates should address bugs and make the feature more stable.

Likewise, Samsung has released an update for its Galaxy Buds app, which facilitates features such as device settings and status view when your phone is connected to a pair of Galaxy Buds. For Buds 3 users, there’s an update for the Manager app as well. These updates should ensure the smoother functioning of your wearable.

In addition to these, Samsung is pushing an update for Expert RAW, its pro-grade camera app for flagship Galaxy smartphones. This app unlocks various professional-level features that most regular users wouldn’t use. X user @Wvisioncreation confirmed, however, that Auto mode has noticeably refined, with better processing and consistency. In addition, battery life has improved, temperatures seem to be cooler, and overall the interface is back to smooth and fluid.

All of these updates arrive just a few days before the rumored launch of One UI 8.5 Beta for the Galaxy S25 series. Samsung may release beta programs in select markets this coming Monday, December 8. The stable version is expected in early 2026 alongside the Galaxy S26 series. Stay tuned for more. Meanwhile, update your apps from the Galaxy Store and the Play Store.
