According to a report from Yonhap News, a striking 83% of Galaxy Z Fold 7 buyers in South Korea are men, with most of them in their 20s and 30s. The Flip 7, meanwhile, saw particular interest from female buyers. 57% of pre-orders for the new clamshell foldable in Samsung’s homeland came from women.

The Korean firm recently revealed that combined pre-orders for the new foldables have already crossed one million units. The company received 1.04 million pre-orders for the Fold 7 and Flip 7 in its home country by Monday. It broke the previous record of 1.02 million set by the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5. The sales split makes for an even interesting takeaway: 60% of pre-orders were for the Fold.

As mentioned above, the Fold model has outsold the Flip for the first time ever.
