Samsung Launches Galaxy Tab A11+ Kids Edition With Colourful Accessories

Earlier this month, Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab A11+ with One UI 8 out of the box. The company has now introduced the Galaxy Tab A11+ Kids Edition. It’s a specialized version with child-oriented accessories and features, offering power, safety, and entertainment to children in one colourful package.

The Galaxy Tab A11+ Kids Edition is a perfect tablet for families who want a fun and educational experience for children. Samsung has bundled the special tablet with a host of kid-friendly accessories, such as a colourful puffy protective case and a Blue Kids touch pen. The device also comes with a tethering string and keyring featuring the animal character Crocro, along with cartoon-style stickers.

“With the tablet in Samsung Kids mode, kids can follow the stylish Crocro, Cooki the aspiring chef, music-lover Lisa, creative Bobby, and new friends Leo & Finn for boundless fun,” said Samsung. The Galaxy Tab A11+ Kids Edition features a parental control leaflet that offers guidance on managing and supervising device use.

Speaking of key features, the Kids Edition tablet boasts an 11-inch TFT LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. This makes it perfect for watching videos, learning through apps, and playing games. The device packs a 7,040 mAh battery (25W fast charging support), so kids can enjoy long entertainment sessions. Despite its bigger screen, it remains slim and light (6.9 mm thick and 477 g).

Under the hood, the Galaxy Tab A11+ Kids Edition uses a MediaTek MT8775 octa-core processor. The tablet is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (expandable to 2TB). The tablet sports an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. On the software side, it runs Android 16-based One UI 8 out of the box. This lets your kids experience the latest interface and smart features.

This tablet is currently available for purchase from Samsung’s Australian website for AU$329. The company should eventually launch the Kids version in other regions.
