Samsung’s HVAC Innovations Win Big at MCE 2026

Samsung has a solid presence in the HVAC market thanks to its innovative heating and cooling solutions. The company has won eight awards at the MCE 2026, Europe’s largest HVAC exhibition (March 24-27). These awards recognize product innovation, energy efficiency, and sustainability.
Samsung offers HVAC solutions for both residential and commercial spaces
At MCE 2026, Samsung’s award-winning products cover both residential and commercial HVAC systems. The AI Windless Combo Pro Wall-mounted home air conditioner won two awards. This smart AC uses AI Motion Wind technology to detect a user’s location and activity. It also features Comfortable Dehumidification that reduces energy consumption by up to 30% compared to standard dehumidifiers.
In the EHS heat pump lineup, Samsung’s solutions replace conventional fossil fuel boilers. Its EHS All-in-One heat pump system and EHS Cascado Controller received MCE awards.
The heat pump system provides heating, cooling, and hot water using heat recovery technology. It operates at temperatures as low as -25°C. Thanks to the use of R32 refrigerant, it has a 68% lower global warming potential than older refrigerants. Meanwhile, the Controller can manage up to eight heat pumps simultaneously. It operates only when necessary, preventing energy use.

Samsung’s indoor units, including the DVM Hydro Unit and ClimateHub S2 DVM Hydro, also received awards. They allow homeowners to monitor and control their heating and cooling systems with a 7-inch touchscreen interface.
In the commercial segment, Samsung’s DVM (Digital Variable Multi) lineup was recognized. The DVM S2 R32 outdoor unit uses AI to learn cooling operation patterns and optimize energy use. The DVM S Mini R32 features a compact, lightweight design, allowing businesses to install it in even small spaces.
“Winning the MCE Award confirms that Samsung Electronics’ air conditioning technology is at the global top level in terms of innovation, energy efficiency, and sustainability,” said Lim Sung-taek, Vice President of the Air Solution Business Team at Samsung Electronics’ DA Business Division. “We will continue to introduce differentiated air conditioning solutions that can make various living environments more comfortable and efficient.”
