Samsung Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G Are Finally Official Globally

After a quiet rollout last week in markets like Thailand, Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G globally. The next-gen Galaxy A phones come with hosts of meaningful upgrades, including enhanced Awesome Intelligence. Both models will go on sale in the US starting April 9.

The next-gen Galaxy A series offers a fresh mid-range experience

The Galaxy A57 5G comes with a slimmer, lighter profile, measuring 6.9 mm thick and weighing 179 g. On the other hand, the Galaxy A37 5G measures 7.4 mm in thickness and weighs 196 g. Both models feature a 6.7-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The former boasts a Super AMOLED+ display, while the latter uses a Super AMOLED display. They feature an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

The Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G come with upgraded Awesome Intelligence, a suite of AI tools that make day-to-day life easier. For example, the Voice Recorder app can now transcribe and translate call recordings or turn voicemail audio into text. Likewise, the Object Eraser lets users remove unwanted objects from photos more naturally.

In the camera department, the Galaxy A57 5G features a 50MP wide, 12MP ultrawide, and 5MP macro lens, along with a 12MP selfie unit. The Galaxy A37 5G also uses the same wide, macro, and selfie camera, but its ultrawide unit is 8MP. Under the hood, the Galaxy A57 5G features the Exynos 1680, while the Galaxy A37 5G sports an Exynos 1480.

Both phones come with a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W Super Fast Charging 2.0. As for memory configuration, the Galaxy A57 5G offers 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage. Likewise, the Galaxy A37 5G offers 6GB or 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage. They run Android 16-based One UI 8.5 software out of the box.

The Galaxy A57 5G starts at $549.99, while the Galaxy A37 5G starts at $449.99, and they’ll be available to buy here starting April 9. Speaking of color options, the A57 5G comes in Awesome Navy, while the A37 5G arrives in Awesome Charcoal, Awesome Lavender, Graygreen, and Awesome White.
