Samsung Health Can’t Wait for the Galaxy Watch 8 Series Launch

In no time, Samsung will unveil new devices on July 9. On launch day, we’ll finally see new smartwatches, including the Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025). Recent leaks have confirmed a lot of details, including full technical specs and promotional materials.

Samsung can’t talk about Galaxy Watch 8 series, but Samsung Health devs can’t wait

It has gotten to the point where Samsung is the only one who hasn’t officially talked about the upcoming devices. Aside from anything announced by Samsung themselves, leaks have revealed nearly everything. But leaks still happen, many by accident, some due to someone’s mistake, and so on.

Apparently, the Samsung Health app received a new update on the Play Store, and in the “What’s New” tab there are indeed some exciting updates, as first spotted by Android Authority.

Here are the things which are new in Samsung Health app v6.30.2.031 listing on Play Store.

• Checking the oxidative stress level is easy peasy with our antioxidant index! Now you are one step closer to preventing chronic diseases
• Galaxy Watch will automatically check your vascular load while you are sleeping and show changes by each stage
• Both the first-time and trained runners can receive training from our Running Coach! We will recommend you with your optimal intensity of workout

You probably already caught most of this, but wait until you see what comes next.

• The above features are available with Galaxy Watch Ultra and Watch 8 series

With this update, Samsung has officially confirmed what we all suspected. Sure, we had the leaks, but now the Samsung Health app is fully Galaxy Watch 8 series ready and raring to go. In a previous announcement, Samsung had said some of the features will require Galaxy Watch Ultra and later, but not explicitly mentioned Galaxy Watch 8. That’s what’s new, and even before embargo lifts up.
