Samsung Readies Galaxy S26 FE and a Couple of Unexpected Mid-range Phones

Last month, Samsung launched the Galaxy S26 series, and it could soon follow up with the Galaxy A57 and A37. The company also has new foldables, tablets, watches, and even a pair of smart glasses in the pipeline, alongside a bunch of other budget and mid-range phones. Now, new listings spotted in the GSMA database confirm the existence of three more upcoming devices: Galaxy S26 FE, M47 5G, and F70 Pro 5G.
Galaxy S26 FE and more upcoming Samsung devices confirmed
First spotted by SmartPrix, Samsung is developing the Galaxy S26 FE under the model number SM-S741B. While the GSMA database listing doesn’t reveal any specifications, it confirms that a new Fan Edition device is in the works. As with previous FE models, the upcoming phone is expected to bring a balance of flagship-level features and a more accessible price point.
While we wait for more information on the Galaxy S26 FE, the latest GSMA entries reveal an interesting development within Samsung’s camp. The company is reviving the M4x lineup. The Galaxy M47 5G has appeared in the database under model number SM-M476B. The last device in this line, the Galaxy M44 5G, launched back in late 2023. Since then, Samsung has remained silent on successors, until now.
Another interesting development is Samsung working on a “Pro” smartphone. The company typically doesn’t use a Pro branding for its phones, but it appears to be working on the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G, bearing the model number SM-E476B. As with the other devices, the GSMA entry confirms its existence but doesn’t dive into specifications.
More details about these devices may surface in the coming weeks. The Galaxy S26 FE is unlikely to debut until September or October this year. Samsung will launch the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Flip 8 ahead of the new Fan Edition model. Stay tuned for more.
