The original article published on August 6, 2025, follows…

The affordable earbuds Samsung had been planning to launch were revealed long ago through the Galaxy Wearable app. Shortly afterward, Samsung released one of them, the Galaxy Buds Core (SM-R410). Now, Samsung has quietly launched the second model, the Galaxy Buds 3 FE (SM-R20), in Latin America. It’s available in black and gray shades.

Samsung quietly launches Galaxy Buds 3 FE in Latin America after leak reveals design

Android Headlines just published an official-looking black render of the Galaxy Buds FE, identical to what is shown on Samsung’s official website. Shortly after the renders were released, Samsung may have seen it as the perfect opportunity to quietly debut the earbuds.

Galaxy Buds 3 FE official 1

On Samsung’s Latin America e-shop, the Galaxy Buds 3 FE are listed at $129. The official page still does not reveal the full specifications, but there is a subtle clue in the top left corner: a Galaxy AI badge. This confirms support for Galaxy AI features, just like the Galaxy Buds Core. These may likely include Interpreter Mode and Live Translate when paired with a compatible device.

Although the Galaxy Buds 3 FE and Galaxy Buds Core belong to the same family, their designs differ. The Galaxy Buds Core resembles the Buds 2 Pro, while the Galaxy Buds 3 FE matches the look of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro.

The Galaxy Buds 3 FE was also recently spotted on the SGS Fimko and the FCC. The FCC listing confirmed an imminent launch, while SGS Fimko confirmed the battery specifications: a 200 mAh battery in the earbuds and a 900 mAh battery in the charging case. This is a significant upgrade.
