Samsung has updated its Samsung Food app to version 2.50.0. The new release improves the recipe builder, makes health goals free for everyone, and fixes several bugs. The update should be available to all eligible users in the coming weeks.

What’s new in the latest version of the Samsung Food app?

Samsung Food is a platform for meal planning, recipe saving, and grocery organizing. It lets you access more than 240,000 recipes for free, including 124,000 fully guided recipes. You can search by ingredients, cooking time, or any popular diets such as keto and vegan. One of its standout features is the ability to add recipes from a photo, a URL, or by entering recipe details manually.

With the latest version of the app, Samsung has made some improvements to its recipe builder to make creating and editing recipes easier than ever. The new autocomplete capability helps you quickly add and edit ingredients. Simply put, when you start typing an ingredient’s name, the platform displays multiple related suggestions, allowing you to select the right one instantly.

Furthermore, you’ll notice a new step editor and a simpler UI within the Recipe Builder. This will help you follow each cooking step more easily while organizing your instructions clearly. Samsung Food+, the premium subscription service of the app, lets you integrate a health profile and goals. It provides personalized meal plans with recipe recommendations. The good news is that with the latest version, the company has made health goals free for everyone. So, start setting your own targets and track how your planned meals help you reach them.

The release note also mentioned that Samsung fixed 11 small and not-so-small bugs, making the app more polished and joyful to use. If you want all the new additions and enhancements, you should update your Samsung Food app from Galaxy Store. If the latest version isn’t showing up on your device, wait a few days.
