Samsung Adds Detailed One UI 8 Beta FAQs to Members App

It’s no secret that the Android 16-based One UI 8 beta is right on the horizon. It does feel a bit odd knowing the One UI 7 rollout is still underway, but we saw this coming. Ahead of the One UI 8 beta rollout, the Members app is now teasing some detailed FAQs. That’s frankly just enough to know the release is imminent. And who’s not in for that?
Samsung Members app is now serving One UI 8 beta program detailed FAQs
When you open the Members app now, you’ll notice a whole new Beta Tips section shedding light on some frequently asked questions. If you’ve installed a beta update before, chances are you already know the answers to most of them, if not all.
According to the FAQs, nothing’s really changing with the One UI 8 beta. Participation is still free, and you still won’t get paid to test features before they go public. These are just some basic FAQs, with nothing particularly exclusive. You can check out the screenshots below.
Along with these latest details, it looks like you only need to join the Beta Program once to test across all supported devices linked to your Samsung account. That removes the need to accept terms multiple times. A new, permanent Beta Program Home in the Members app also makes it easier to access beta features and tips.
The One UI 8 beta program is expected to launch soon, possibly subsequently across South Korea, India, Germany, Poland, the US, and the UK. There’s a good chance China could be added to that list too. Historically, Samsung has launched its beta programs in these seven markets. In any case, South Korea and the US could be the first regions to receive the One UI 8 beta update.
The One UI 8 beta program subforums for the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra are now live as well. Interestingly, the Galaxy S25 Edge is currently missing from the list. That said, we expect the recently launched S25 Edge to join its S25 siblings soon.
