Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7 renders reveal Samsung’s slim commitment

To keep the excitement going, Evan Blass has shared even more renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 via Leakmail. Yes, more renders, because Blass has been on a roll lately, sharing several of them. You can still check out some of the previously leaked images, but what’s new this time?

In the latest set of renders, one thing that really stands out is how slim the Galaxy Z Fold 7 appears. The side buttons are neatly integrated, with barely any visible gap, contributing to an impressively sleek profile. According to rumors, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 could measure just 8.9 mm thick when folded and a mere 4.5 mm when unfolded. For reference, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 measures 12.1 mm folded and 5.6 mm unfolded.

Despite this slimming down, Samsung doesn’t seem to be compromising on performance. Rumors suggest the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will pack a Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy. As for the Galaxy Z Flip 7, it might take a different path, reportedly featuring Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2500 chipset.

Speaking of the Galaxy Z Flip 7, it looks set to adopt a more Razr-style design. It has a full cover screen that reaches near all four edges of the front panel, even going under the two front cameras and the LED flash. With preview events coming to select cities, you might get a chance to see these new foldables in person before they go on sale.
