Game Booster Update Brings System Monitor, Floating Menu and More

Samsung is rolling out a significant update to Game Booster, its built-in gaming optimization app for Galaxy devices. The new version 8.0.01.10 introduces useful upgrades designed to give mobile gamers more control, deeper performance insights, and quicker access to essential tools during play. The update is available via the Galaxy Store.

The standout addition is system monitoring, which now lets users keep track of live game performance data, including FPS, CPU, GPU, and RAM usage. This makes it easier to spot performance drops and adjust settings on the fly. You can enable it from the in-game panel, which can be accessed from the navigation bar or a shortcut panel, depending on your settings.

When “System monitor” is enabled, a pill-shaped bar appears at the top of your screen, showing real-time performance data. You can drag it to a different spot so it doesn’t block your view. If it still feels distracting, you can easily turn it off from the same panel.

Speaking of which, Samsung has introduced a floating menu for quicker access to the in-game panel. It’s also a movable pill-shaped bar with shortcuts to “System monitor” and “Screenshot” functions. You can expand the menu with one tap to get the full panel. This means less time fumbling through menus and more time focusing on gameplay.

Another key improvement is manual routine integration. With this, players can directly link their custom routines in the Modes & Routines app, tailoring performance, notifications, and other settings for a truly personalized gaming experience.

The latest Game Booster update (version 8.0.01.10) is rolling out gradually and should be available soon to Galaxy users worldwide. You can check for updates via the Galaxy Store (Menu > Updates).
