Galaxy Z Fold 7 Might Feature a 16GB RAM Variant, Colors Tipped Again

It feels like the countdown to the upcoming July Unpacked event has officially begun. As we get closer to the launch, some of the nitty-gritty details about the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 are starting to come out of the woodwork. Samsung will host the July Unpacked in New York, where it is expected to debut the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and the Galaxy Watch 8 series. Some even speculate that the Galaxy Z Flip FE might make an appearance.

Galaxy Z Fold 7’s new leak suggests a 16GB RAM variant could be on the cards

After WinFuture detailed the upcoming colors and storage options for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7, Arsène Lupin (aka MysteryLupin) has shed more light on the subject. Lupin confirms some of what WinFuture reported. Both sources agree that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7 will start at 128GB/8GB and 256GB/12GB configurations. They also confirm the same color lineup.

However, Lupin adds some additional information. According to him, the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 will also have a 1TB storage and 16GB RAM variant, too. That said, the tipster doesn’t specify whether Samsung will release this model worldwide or limit it to certain regions. Given the company’s past practices, the latter seems more likely. Still, we hope Samsung makes the Galaxy Z Fold 7’s 16GB RAM variant available globally.

Furthermore, Lupin states that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will come in four colors: Silver Shadow, Blue Shadow, Jet Black, and Coral Red. Of course, there may be some online-exclusive colors, as has been the case in previous years. For the Galaxy Z Flip 7, Lupin mentions one less color than WinFuture’s report, which is a bit unusual.

The release is still a few weeks away, so we can expect more details to emerge. But given the track record of both tipsters, it’s safe to say much of this information will hold true for the upcoming foldables.
