Samsung May Return to New York to Host July Unpacked

We’re getting closer to the launch of the new foldables and the Watch 8 refresh. By now, you’ve probably heard that Samsung will host its summer Unpacked event in July, most likely on the 10th. Rumors have been flying for a while that the Samsung’s July Unpacked might take place in New York, and now more reports are backing that up.

Samsung may return to New York for July Unpacked to launch Galaxy Fold 7, Flip 7, Watch 8 series

Korean outlet Business Korea and China-based IJiWei report that Samsung will host the July Unpacked event in New York. As we mentioned earlier, the first rumors about a New York location surfaced back in April, and these new reports add even more credibility to that.

It won’t be the first time Samsung hosts an event in New York. In fact, Samsung debuted the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 there. However, the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Flip 5, and the Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 made their debuts in Seoul and Paris, respectively.

What’s widely expected is that Samsung will finally unveil the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and Galaxy Watch 8 series during the event. If we’re lucky, we might also see Samsung pull the curtain back on the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE.

With the event now approaching, Samsung has started teasing what appears to be the Galaxy Z Fold 7. The term “Ultra” has been referenced multiple times in their posts, which hints at some big upgrades. Additionally, some key details have leaked about possible storage variants for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7. The same report sheds light on the upcoming colors for the Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic, too. One thing’s for sure, we’re in for some exciting launches this summer.
