Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, Flip 7 FE Specs Just Leaked Ahead of Unpacked

Samsung will take the wraps off not two, but three foldable devices this Wednesday in New York at Galaxy Unpacked. The three are the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. Earlier today, Samsung India accidentally confirmed the FE variant’s official name and pre-reservation offers, so the picture’s getting a lot clearer.

Specs leak show how the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7 and Flip 7 FE compare
WinFuture’s Roland Quandt seems to have gotten hold of official Samsung promo materials ahead of Unpacked. These materials lay out the specs for the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and Flip 7 FE. One thing to note, however, is that you might not see the 1TB variant of the Fold 7 in there. But it’s there.
Meet the thinnest and lightest Z Fold yet, measuring just 8.9mm thin when folded and 4.2mm when unfolded, and weighing 216g. […] a classic 6.5-inch display for on-the-go, combined with a generous 8-inch screen […] also features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite […] 4,400mAh battery […].

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be noticeably thinner than any previous model in the lineup. Quandt cites marketing materials that hype this up, stating it will measure just 4.2mm when unfolded and 8.9mm when folded. That’s incredibly thin, especially considering it still has a 6.5-inch cover display and an 8-inch main screen.
Specs also show the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, with at least 256GB of storage. A 1TB option is likely, but only in select markets. I’m assuming the US is one of them. Battery capacity appears unchanged. The new 200MP main camera is confirmed, but there’s no full camera setup listed yet.

Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Flip 7 FE look alike on paper, but they’re not
As for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Flip 7 FE, they seem to share a lot, but there are some obvious differences. According to Quandt, both may have the same screen sizes, but the Flip 7 FE will skip the full edge-to-edge cover screen. Both are expected to have a 50MP main rear camera.
The key differences are in color options, battery capacity, and storage. The Flip 7 FE, being the cheaper model, will start at 128GB instead of 256GB like the regular Flip 7. It might reuse the Flip 6 design, though leaks are mixed. What’s clear is that the Flip 7 gets the upgraded cover screen, and the FE does not.
