We are still months away from the official unveiling of the next-generation Galaxy S flagships, but leaks have already begun painting the picture. Rumor has it Samsung will ditch the vanilla Galaxy S26 for the Galaxy S26 Pro. A fresh leak now reveals the upcoming Galaxy S26 Pro’s screen size and battery capacity, suggesting modest upgrades over the Galaxy S25.

Leak suggests a slight screen and battery boost for the Galaxy S26 Pro.

According to well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, the Galaxy S26 Pro will carry the model number SM-S9420 for the Chinese market. The phone may feature a 6.27-inch display, slightly larger than the 6.2-inch panel of the Galaxy S25. It would not be surprising if the Korean firm markets the screen size as 6.3 inches.

This is not the first time we have heard about the screen size of the Pro model. A previous report also revealed the same information alongside the screen size of its siblings. The Galaxy S26 Edge may sport a 6.66-inch display, while the Ultra model could feature a 6.89-inch display.

As for the battery, the same tipster says the Galaxy S26 Pro will feature a 4,300 mAh battery (rated capacity: 4,175 mAh). This is a slight increase of 300 mAh over the Galaxy S25, which packs a 4,000 mAh battery. The information aligns with an earlier report, but we now have confirmation from a reputable industry leaker as well. While Samsung plans to upgrade the battery capacity, it still lags behind offerings from Chinese competitors.

Other models in the lineup may also see an increase in battery capacity. Rumors so far suggest 4,200 mAh for the S26 Edge and 5,500 mAh for the S26 Ultra. Samsung may also offer improved charging support, with the Galaxy S26 Ultra expected to feature 60W charging, up from 45W on the S25 Ultra. While there are no solid reports on charging capacities for the Pro and Edge models, some say they might support 45W charging.
