Galaxy S26, Edge and Ultra Screen Sizes Revealed — No Plus Model

Samsung appears to be reshaping its flagship smartphone lineup for 2026, with strong signs that the Galaxy S26+ is on the way out. Instead, the series may include the Galaxy S26, S26 Edge, and S26 Ultra, with the Edge model taking over the Plus slot. This isn’t the first time we’ve heard about the shift, and now another credible report backs it up. To top it off, we now have details on the screen sizes for all three Galaxy S26 models.
Galaxy S26 screen sizes revealed, base model gets a bump
Samsung seems to have finalized the key specs for the Galaxy S26 series ahead of early production. According to the Korean media, the company has placed orders for various internal components, diversifying its supply chain in the process. The same report adds that the base model will sport a 6.27-inch display, likely marketed as 6.3 inches. It is a slightly larger panel than the S25’s 6.2-inch unit.
The Galaxy S26 Edge is said to sport a 6.66-inch (6.7-inch) display, unchanged from the S25 Edge. The Ultra model may also keep a largely unchanged 6.89-inch (6.9-inch) screen. Notably, the report doesn’t mention the Galaxy S26+, adding weight to ongoing speculation that Samsung may discontinue the Plus model. This move has been anticipated for the past couple of years, as the Plus variant has consistently underperformed in sales.
With the Edge model now positioned as a slimmer, more appealing alternative, Samsung may finally have a fitting replacement in its flagship lineup. Well, the Galaxy S25 Edge hasn’t sold incredibly well either. However, it arrived a few months after the regular S25 lineup, so there wasn’t enough space for it in the market. Integrating the Edge into the main lineup in place of the Plus may help boost sales. We shall find out early next year.
