Galaxy S25 FE, Galaxy A56 Grab October 2025 Update

Samsung has started rolling out the October 2025 security patch for the Galaxy S25 FE and Galaxy A56. The October Patch for both the models is based on One UI 8. The update for the devices is live in many regions and should expand to other places soon. This update does not bring any major change along with it, but keeps your device safe against the latest security vulnerabilities.

The Galaxy S25 FE has started receiving the October 2025 security patch in Europe and Asia. This marks the second update for the device since its launch, which came with One UI 8 out of the box. The October update for the Fan Edition smartphone comes with the build number S731BXXS2AYID. It contains dozens of security fixes and improves the stability of the newly launched galaxy smartphone.
The Galaxy A56 has also started receiving the October patch in Europe and Asia. This is the first update for the phone since the big One UI 8 release. It mainly brings security fixes and improves system stability after the major update. The latest release is just shy of 400MB in size. The October update for the Galaxy A56 has the build number A566BXXU6BYIF.
These devices follow the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S24 series in Samsung’s October security update party. For these flagship lineups, the update is based on One UI 8 and marks the second update since the One UI 8 rollout. To check manually for the October update, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Tap Install now once the update finishes downloading, and your device will restart with the latest October patch.
