Samsung is prioritizing the Galaxy Unpacked event, and we’re now just two days away from it. Because of this strong focus, the company delayed the February 2026 security update rollout for quite some time. Now, as we move closer to the end of the month, Samsung has suddenly started pushing the February 2026 patch to more devices. The Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE (review), and Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition are the latest additions to the list.

Samsung expands February 2026 update rollout ahead of Unpacked

The Galaxy S24 FE has received the February 2026 security update in Samsung’s home country, South Korea. However, the standard Galaxy S24 models are still waiting for the update. Its successor, the Galaxy S25 FE, along with other Galaxy S25 models, also received the update today.

Samsung has also pushed the February 2026 security update to the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE and the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition in Korea. Sibling models such as the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6 received the same update earlier today.

This time, Samsung appears to be using a slightly different security patch level format. Earlier, the company used to label it as the 1st of the month, such as January 1, 2026. Now, it shows February 5, 2026 as the security patch level. The February 2026 security update fixes 37 security vulnerabilities identified by Samsung, Google, and their partners.

Samsung is currently focused on Galaxy Unpacked. After the event concludes, the company should expand the February patch rollout to more devices and regions, possibly starting next week. We will keep you updated.

If you own any of the Galaxy devices mentioned above, you can check for update by heading to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Once the download is complete, tap Install now. Make sure your device has enough battery and is not overheating before installing the update.
