Galaxy S26 Ultra case renders appear months ahead of launch
Shared by noted leaker Ice Universe, the images showcase a couple of cases allegedly intended for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. One has a clear back panel with a rubber frame, while the other appears to adopt a frosted glass finish. More importantly, the renders reveal the upcoming flagship’s rear camera layout, which now features a massive bumper.
The camber bump isn’t clearly noticeable in these case renders, but a close look tells you that the lenses no longer protrude out of the back panel individually. The lens design is identical to the Galaxy Z Fold 7 or S24 Ultra — nobody liked the S25 Ultra’s ridged lenses, anyway.
Another detail worth noting is the phone’s more rounded corner radius, which aligns with earlier leaks suggesting Samsung is softening the Ultra’s silhouette. Despite this change, the overall layout remains consistent with the S25 Ultra, including the camera and button positioning. The Korean firm refined s tried and tested design, slimming down the phone for a better in-hand feel.
While the external design has seen minor refinements, the camera hardware tells a story of incremental upgrades. According to leaks, the Galaxy S26 Ultra may retain the same 200MP primary sensor, but with a wider aperture. The 50MP 5x zoom camera and the 50MP ultrawide lens may carry over unchanged, while the 3x zoom camera may now employ a 12MP sensor, though Samsung may still use only 10MP.
Reports also suggest Samsung could improve low-light photography, but no major overhauls are expected. With largely unchanged hardware, a lot depends on improvements in software processing. The Galaxy S25 Ultra has room for improvement in that area, so we hope the next model will do a better job out of the box. Stick around for more Galaxy S26 Ultra leaks and rumors.
