We are now less than a month away from the Galaxy S26 launch. Samsung may have yet to officially announce the dates, but we have every reason to believe that the new flagships will debut on February 25, followed by market release on March 6. As expected, leaks have picked up steam in recent weeks. A fresh Geekbench entry shows the performance levels of the Exynos 2600-powered Galaxy S26+.

Galaxy S26+ spotted on Geekbench with Exynos 2600

The Korean version of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26+ (model number SM-S947N) recently surfaced on Geekbench. It is powered by the Exynos 2600 (s5e9965), Samsung’s newly announced 2nm processor, paired with 12GB of RAM and Android 16-based software. The deca-core chip has one C1 Ultra prime CPU core clocked at 3.80GHz, three C1 Pro mid-cores at 3.26GHz, and six more C1 Pro mid-cores at 2.76GHz.

Samsung has opted for an all-big-core design here, which is increasingly becoming the norm for smartphone processors, especially the flagship ones. The powerful new processor achieved a single-core score of 3,314 and a multi-core score of 11,450 in Geekbench v6.5 testing with the Galaxy S26+. These scores are in the expected lines for the current generation of flagship smartphone SoCs.

Of course, Geekbench tests never tell the full story. Real-world performance involves sustained performance, graphics, AI workloads, and battery efficiency. However, this listing (if genuine — it’s easy to fake benchmarks than many think) does suggest the Exynos 2600 is shaping up to be a strong contender in the flagship category. Alongside the Galaxy S26+, it may also power the base S26 in some regions.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra, meanwhile, may exclusively use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Expect more details about Samsung’s new flagships to emerge in the coming days as the company gears up for launch.
