A few days ago, we got our first look at Samsung’s upcoming 25W Qi2 magnetic wireless charger. Now, a fresh leak reveals new images of the charger, giving us another look at its design. Samsung’s new Qi2 magnetic wireless charger leaks ahead of launch
Tipster @MysteryLupin recently shared four images of the wireless charger, all of which appear to be in dark gray color. We can see a circular magnetic charging puck that will snap securely onto the back of compatible devices. It comes with a braided USB-C cable, which improves durability and reduces the chance of wear over time.
Samsung has basically designed this charger for its upcoming Galaxy S26 series, though it could work with older devices like Galaxy S25 Ultra and Z Fold 7. The Galaxy S26 Ultra may support the full 25W wireless charging speed, while the Galaxy S26 and S26+ may be limited to 20W.
This means that while all three flagships can take advantage of the Qi2 charger, the Ultra model will enjoy the fastest wireless charging speeds. Reports suggest that the Galaxy S26 series may feature built-in magnets that support the Qi2 standard. As such, the devices will automatically align with the charging puck for optimal charging without needing a special case.
Meanwhile, a retailer listing has revealed more details about the charger, though the attached image appears to be from a previous magnetic wireless charger. The company recommends pairing the charger with a 45W or stronger power adapter. It may measure just 4.4 mm thick, which helps reduce heat generation for a pleasant charging experience. As for pricing, the listing reveals the charger will be available for €44.99, while a separate retailer listing shows 999 CZK. These prices should be taken with a grain of salt, as retailers often use placeholders in early listings.
