Samsung has rolled out new updates for its Expert RAW app and Galaxy Enhance-X modules. While these releases don’t introduce major features, they focus on improving the overall user experience with bug fixes and stability enhancements. The latest versions are now available to download through the Galaxy Store.

Samsung updates its Expert RAW and Galaxy Enhance-X apps

Besides stock apps, Samsung offers a bunch of downloadable tools to improve the photography and editing experience on Galaxy devices. Expert RAW is its pro-level camera app with finer controls for various shooting parameters, going way beyond what you get with the stock app. It’s available for flagship models, allowing photography enthusiasts to get the best out of their Galaxy phones’ powerful camera hardware.

Samsung is now rolling out an update to this app, introducing version 5.0.02.17. The app listing on the Galaxy Store doesn’t include any release notes, which typically means a minor update. Samsung may have addressed some bugs and optimized the app for smoother performance. Users can download the new version from the Galaxy Store.

Additionally, Samsung is pushing fresh updates for SkyGuide and CameraShift. These are downloadable modules available within Galaxy Enhance-X, Samsung’s AI-powered photo editing app. The former has been updated to version 15.0.28, while the latter gets an update to version 15.0.39. Once again, there are no release notes, so don’t expect major enhancements.

As the name suggests, SkyGuide lets users identify various stars, constellations, and even planets in the night sky. You just capture a night sky image, and the app tells you about all the major objects in the frame. CameraShift, meanwhile, lets you adjust the camera angle in photos after capturing, making the subject look taller or shorter. The Galaxy Enhance-X app itself received a major update last month.
