Samsung Showcases Advanced Ultrasound Solutions for Women’s Health

Samsung has a solid presence in the medical equipment business thanks to its ultrasound systems. The company’s subsidiary, Samsung Medison, recently showcased its ultrasound diagnostic solutions at the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG 2025) in Cancún, Mexico. The solutions support women’s health across all life stages, from the fetal stage to menopause.

Samsung’s innovative ultrasound diagnostic solutions take center stage at ISUOG 2025

At ISUOG 2025, Samsung Medison presented its women’s health solution under the theme “From Challenges to Solutions: Experience the Innovation.” The company gained a lot of attention from the global medical community thanks to its upgraded HERA Z20, a premium ultrasound system for OB&GYN.

The HERA Z20 offers diagnostic tools for every stage of a woman’s life. It helps healthcare professionals manage women’s health from adolescent gynecological conditions and fertility to maternity and aging. The new PelvicAssist, alongside other reporting features, offers better support for women and healthcare professionals dealing with gynecological issues. For example, PelvicAssist automatically diagnoses pelvic regions and measures the levator hiatus area to provide a clear 3D image.

Thanks to Fibroid 2D, it makes it easier to report uterine fibroids by using guidelines from the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO). Likewise, IDEA and IETA improve the scan and reporting process for endometriosis and endometrial tumor evaluation, respectively. The ultra-compact probe Mini ER7 (63% smaller head compared to traditional probes) reduces discomfort during gynecological exams.

For high-risk pregnancy care, Samsung Medison’s ultrasound system has integrated a bunch of features. For example, the Ophthalmic Artery detects systemic vasoconstriction in early stages, while HeartAssist supports maternal health through real-time monitoring of cardiovascular conditions. Moreover, Live ViewAssist helps reduce diagnostic time, and QualityCheck ensures consistent results throughout pregnancy.
