Galaxy Enhance-X Update Brings Powerful New AI Editing Features

Samsung has rolled out an update for its Galaxy Enhance-X with version 16.0.01.8. Intended for One UI 8 users, the update brings two new powerful features: Focus Shift and Crop & Upscale. The latest build should reach all eligible Galaxy users globally in the coming weeks.
Galaxy Enhance-X app gets two new features in the latest update
Samsung’s Galaxy Enhance-X app lets you enhance media such as photos and videos. It uses AI to analyze them and then improve their quality. You can fix blurry shots, remove glare, sharpen details, increase dynamic range, and more. Last month, the company announced an update for the AI photo editing app, and now it has delivered that.
If you want to give your shots a professional touch, the new feature called Focus Shift will help you. It lets you tap anywhere on your image to bring your subject into sharp focus. Thanks to AI, the app can intelligently blur everything else, making it perfect for portraits and product shots. Furthermore, it comes in handy to turn everyday photos into impressive visuals with depth.
Another useful new feature called Crop & Upscale will offer an improved zoom experience. It uses cutting-edge AI technology to improve photos up to 5x the resolution. You can now zoom in on a subject, and the app will make the photo sharp.
The app’s changelog did not mention any other additions, but we can expect it to bring improvements to its existing features. For example, Samsung may have optimized app performance with refined AI processing. If you want the new tools and possible under-the-hood improvements, be sure to update your app once it reaches your device.
Note that the latest version is only available for devices running One UI 8. This includes Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, and Galaxy S25 series (via beta program). To update the Galaxy Enhance-X app, you can go to the Galaxy Store and search for the app.
