Samsung has released the third One UI 8 beta update for the Galaxy S24 lineup. The latest release comes two weeks after Beta 2 and focuses on squashing bugs and improving stability. The update is currently rolling out in South Korea, with wider availability expected soon.

Galaxy S24 gets One UI 8 Beta 3 as we get closer to the stable release

The Beta 3 update, carrying firmware version ZY13, addresses several user-reported issues. According to the official changelog, Galaxy S24 users on One UI 8 can expect fixes for the bug where the lock screen clock kept shifting downward, the issue preventing the Stretched Font style from being applied, and a problem where fonts in the navigation bar, status bar, and lock screen PIN screen appeared thinner than intended.

Samsung has also improved the stability of the lock screen, fixing a glitch where the quick launch icon occasionally disappeared. Additionally, the update may contain minor bug fixes and optimizations for smoother performance. These refinements should make everyday use feel more consistent, particularly around the lock screen and system-wide font handling.

This release is another step in stabilizing the Android 16-based One UI 8 software for the Galaxy S24 series. Samsung is expected to roll out the final version later this month, at least for beta users. Alongside Korea, the beta program is also available in India, the UK, and the US. Beta users in those regions should get the latest update in the coming days. You can always check for updates by heading to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

While this version doesn’t introduce new features, it is an important release as Samsung moves closer to the stable version. We will let you know when the final One UI 8 update rolls out for the Galaxy S24 lineup.
