Samsung Confirms Early Launch of Galaxy S25 FE

Samsung is preparing a major shake-up for its 2026 flagship smartphone lineup. But the first signs of this strategic shift may arrive within the next couple of months. The company has officially confirmed that the Galaxy S25 FE will launch earlier than usual, potentially in the first half of September.
Galaxy S25 FE may launch within the next few weeks
Typically, Samsung unveils its Fan Edition phones in October. The Galaxy S24 FE went official on September 26, 2024, but general sales didn’t begin until the first week of October. The upcoming model was expected to arrive around the same time this year. However, during Samsung’s Q2 2025 earnings call, Daniel Araujo, VP of the Mobile Division, revealed that the Galaxy S25 will launch early.
“For the Galaxy S25 series, we will focus on maintaining sales momentum with seasonal promotions as well as an earlier launch of the S25 FE,” Araujo said. This statement, coupled with earlier leaks, hints at an official announcement window in early to mid-September. If true, we could soon see more leaks with additional information.
Samsung has also officially confirmed plans to launch its first tri-fold smartphone and XR headset later this year. Moreover, the company has the Galaxy Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra flagship tablets in the pipeline. All of these devices fall in the premium category and could debut at the same time. Samsung may also introduce some budget products, like the Galaxy A17 and Tab S10 Lite, in the coming months.
While Samsung has a packed second half of 2025, the company may begin 2026 on an even higher note. The Galaxy S26 series will debut early next year, and with some big changes. If leaks are accurate, we won’t see the Galaxy S26 and S26+ next year. Instead, Samsung will launch the Galaxy S26 Pro and S26 Edge. The Ultra isn’t going anywhere, though.
