Samsung Unveils Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) With More Storage, New Features

Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025), the latest addition to its premium smartwatch lineup. Instead of a complete overhaul, this year’s Ultra is a thoughtful refinement of the original Galaxy Watch Ultra, delivering improvements where they matter most: storage, software, and subtle design tweaks. Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) brings some notable upgrades

The Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) retains the 2024 model’s squircle-shaped titanium case with a 47mm size and MIL-STD-810H durability — in fact, Samsung adopted this design language across its smartwatch lineup this year. The device offers IP68 and 10ATM water resistance, making it a strong companion for outdoor enthusiasts and athletes alike.

A 1.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 480 x 480 resolution provides a crisp and vibrant user experience, shielded by sapphire crystal for added toughness. Samsung powers the new model with the same Exynos W1000 chip built on the 3nm process, paired with 2GB RAM and now 64GB of internal storage — doubling last year’s capacity. The battery setup remains unchanged with a 590mAh cell and 10W wireless charging.

Running Wear OS 6-based One UI Watch 8, the watch brings enhanced health tracking, including new features like Antioxidant Index and Vascular System analysis. Samsung has substantially improved its already vast health monitoring capabilities with this update.

Price and availability

The Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) is priced at $649.99, the same launch price as its predecessor. Samsung is offering the 2025 Ultra in a new Titanium Blue shade, in addition to the existing Titanium Gray, Titanium Silver, and Titanium White colors.
