Samsung Wallet 6.0.85 Adds Now Bar and Live Notifications Support

Samsung recently rolled out an update for its Samsung Wallet app with version 6.0.85. The latest update brings support for Now Bar and Live Notifications, allowing you to get real-time information right on your lock screen. The new version should be available to all eligible Galaxy users worldwide over the next few days.

Samsung Wallet gets smarter with Now Bar and Live Notifications support

Introduced with One UI 7, Samsung has been gradually expanding support for Now Bar and Live Notifications across its apps. A few days ago, the SmartThings app gained Now Bar integration, and now this capability is also available for Samsung Wallet. In case you are not familiar, the Now Bar is a pill-shaped UI element that displays ongoing tasks, such as live notifications and music playback on the lock screen.

As spotted by tipster Tarun Vats, the Samsung Wallet app can now display real‑time updates for your tickets right on your lock screen through Now Bar. It should also appear on the status bar and display detailed activities upon clicking on it.

With Samsung Wallet, you can securely store bank cards, loyalty cards, digital keys, and more. On top of that, it lets you store a wide range of other items, such as tickets and boarding passes. Thanks to the Now Bar integration, you can now access useful information like departure times without needing to unlock your phone. This comes in handy when you are in a rush to catch a train or flight.

If you also want this convenience, you should update your Samsung Wallet. Just open the Galaxy Store and search for the app to download the latest version. You may have to wait a few days, as Samsung does not roll out updates simultaneously to all users. Once updated, you can check if the new capability is activated by going to Settings > Lock screen and AOD > Now Bar > Live notifications.
