Samsung Testing July 2025 Security Update for Multiple Galaxy Phones

As June comes to a close, Samsung is preparing to roll out the July 2025 security update for a range of Galaxy phones. So far, Samsung remains on track with the upcoming security patch, thanks to a batch of internal test builds spotted on servers across various regions.
Samsung starts testing July 2025 security patch for Galaxy A35, A55, S24 and S24 FE
According to @Koram_Akhilesh (1,2,3,4), h/t: @KeepUPwithOneUI, Samsung is internally testing the July 2025 security update across regions for multiple phones. While the full changelog for the July patch has yet to emerge, the presence of test builds suggests the official rollout may begin soon.
So far, we know Samsung is testing the July 2025 security update for the Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy S24 FE in South Korea. Additionally, the company is testing the upcoming security patch for the Galaxy A35 in India and the Galaxy A55 in Europe. Below are the build numbers for each update.
- Galaxy A35: A356EXXS5BYF2 (India)
- Galaxy A55: A556BXXS9BYF2 (Europe)
- Galaxy S24: S92*NKSS4BYF1 (South Korea)
- Galaxy S24 FE: S721NKSS5BYF1 (South Korea)
As usual, the upcoming monthly patch will deliver the latest Android security fixes, likely addressing vulnerabilities reported in June. Samsung typically starts rolling out these security updates in the first or second week of the month. Usually, South Korea is the first to receive the updates, after which other regions start receiving.
