After JerryRigEverything confirmed the Galaxy S25 Edge’s surprising toughness in a stress test, PBKReviews followed up with a detailed look inside the device. And the results are promising. The teardown shows that despite its razor-thin design, the Galaxy S25 Edge (hands-on) remains surprisingly repairable. In fact, it earned a strong 8.5 out of 10 on the repairability scale.

The disassembly process follows a familiar sequence for modern smartphones. Eject the SIM tray, heat the back to loosen the adhesive, remove the rear panel, unscrew the internals, disconnect a few cables, and lift out the battery. There is nothing unusually difficult, and no hidden obstacles that would frustrate experienced repair technicians.

Looking at the breakdown, the Galaxy S25 Edge scored a perfect 2 out of 2 in categories like battery and miscellaneous part replacement, along with another 2 out of 2 for parts availability. The internal layout received 1.5 out of 2, while screen replacement earned 1 out of 2, suggesting it is manageable but not as simple as the other components.

For comparison, the standard Galaxy S25 scored slightly higher at 9 out of 10. Still, considering the Edge model’s ultra-thin profile, coming so close is impressive. Samsung clearly didn’t trade off serviceability in pursuit of style with the Galaxy S25 Edge.
