Samsung is on a roll today. It just started rolling out the June 2025 security update to the Galaxy S23, and now the Galaxy S23 FE is joining the party. The update isn’t live in the US or other international markets yet, only in home country. However, it might expand to other regions in the coming days.

Galaxy S23 FE receives June 2025 security update in South Korea

Samsung has now started rolling out the June 2025 security update to the Galaxy S23 FE in South Korea (h/t: @KeepUPwithOneUI). So far, Samsung has released the June 2025 security patch for a number of devices across various regions. The update comes with the build number S711NKSS7CYE5.

If you’re in South Korea and use the Galaxy S23 FE, you can go to Settings > Software update and check if it’s available. If it is, tap Download and install to update your phone to the latest patch, which fixes multiple security vulnerabilities. Make sure your device is connected to Wi-Fi and has enough battery before installing the update.

For what it’s worth, the June 2025 security patch addresses more than 60 security vulnerabilities. This includes over 36 Android-related issues and 10 Samsung-specific fixes. None of these pose a high-level risk, but it’s still not worth delaying these updates.

That said, the June 2025 security update for the Galaxy S23 FE in international markets, including the US, is likely to arrive soon. Keep checking for the update, as Samsung has been rolling out updates quickly lately.

In other news, Samsung has also released the second round of the One UI 8 beta. As a result, the update is now available in a total of six regions, but it is exclusive to the Galaxy S25 trio. Everything is on track for the stable release of One UI 8 next month, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7.
