The time has come if you were planning to buy the Galaxy Z TriFold in the US. Samsung’s latest and most expensive phone yet goes on sale today at 10 am ET. It’s priced at $2,899, and unlike other Galaxy launches, Samsung isn’t offering any trade-in deals. Buyers will have to pay full price.

As elsewhere, availability may be limited here as well. In Korea, the Galaxy Z TriFold repeatedly made headlines for selling out within minutes. It remains to be seen whether Americans will take to the Galaxy Z TriFold in the same way.

Galaxy Z TriFold officially launches in the US with a $2,899 price tag

As mentioned, it comes at $2,899 for the sole 512GB variant in the Crafted Black finish. There are no carrier deals either. Some of you may recognize the shade. It was one of the special colors for the Galaxy Z Fold 6, and the Galaxy Z TriFold looks great in it.

Samsung is bundling several accessory discounts with the Galaxy Z TriFold. Buyers can get 10% off the Smart Keyboard, 28% off the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, 30% off a 50W PD power adapter, and 10% and 18% off the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic and Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025), respectively, along with additional offers.

Most importantly, if you’re planning to buy the Galaxy Z TriFold, there’s an extra incentive. The first 50 buyers who purchase through our link will receive a $75 Amazon gift card. After completing the purchase, they’ll need to fill out a verification form. You can find more details there.

Moving on to the specs, the display setup is doing much of the heavy lifting here. Unfolded, you’re looking at a 10-inch screen, while the cover display measures 6.5 inches when closed. As for cameras, it features a triple-camera setup with a 200MP wide sensor, a 10MP telephoto, and a 12MP ultrawide. On the front, there’s a 10MP camera on the cover display and another 10MP shooter on the main screen.

Under the hood, it packs the Snapdragon 8 Elite. It runs One UI 8 out of the box and will receive software updates through December 31, 2032. It packs a 5,600mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. One of the standout features is that it doesn’t need an external display to run DeX.
