Samsung’s 2027 Plans Surface: Agent AI, Solid-State Batteries and More

Samsung appears to be planning major tech innovations for 2027. The company is working on smarter AI, new battery technology, improved memory, and smart glasses. So, you can expect big improvements in mobile devices, wearables, and other electronics in the coming years.

Samsung prepares massive tech leap for 2027

Noted tipster Jukan has shared Samsung Securities’ roadmap for the next few years. The roadmap suggests that Samsung plans to integrate Agent AI in devices to enhance real-time responsiveness in 2027. This means future devices like the Galaxy S27 could respond faster and smarter. An earlier report suggested that the Korean firm is working on context-aware Agentic AI that can autonomously meet user needs.

Samsung is reportedly developing an all-solid-state battery, which could debut in the Galaxy Watch in 2026. This battery promises a higher energy density compared to traditional lithium-ion batteries. Now, the roadmap suggests that the company plans to bring this battery technology to smartphones in 2027.

Samsung is also working on XR-based smart glasses in partnership with Google. Packed with cameras and microphones, the glasses integrate Gemini AI for real-time understanding of the surroundings. While these glasses may launch next year, the Korean firm may be developing its own line of smart glasses for 2027, according to the roadmap.

On the memory front, Samsung plans to introduce new mobile DRAM in 2027. Furthermore, it is exploring advanced memory technologies such as Low-Power Wide I/O (LPW) DRAM, Visual Computing System (VCS), and Flip Chip System-in-Package (FC-SIP). Meanwhile, AI-powered humanoid robots, Tesla Optimus, may enter factory environments in H2 2026, improving automation and reducing production time.

For now, all eyes are on the upcoming Galaxy S26 series, expected to debut in the first quarter of 2026. The roadmap mentions that the flagship lineup will focus on a personal-data AI search service. So, we can expect the Galaxy S26 to use more on-device processing for better AI results.
