Samsung updates Game Booster+ with One UI 8 support

Samsung has rolled out a fresh update to its Game Booster+ app, and it’s a significant one for Galaxy gamers. The latest version finally makes the app compatible with One UI 8, Samsung’s Android 16-based software. The update will be available to users globally in the coming days.
Samsung’s Game Booster+ finally gets One UI 8 support with its latest update
For Galaxy users, Game Booster+ is an essential tool for optimizing performance and improving gameplay experiences. It offers a host of features, including gamepad key remapping, fine-tuning graphics, and more. Part of the Good Lock suite, the app was missing One UI 8 support all this time, even though Samsung launched the One UI 8 beta program in May.
The company has finally made Game Booster+ compatible with its newest software. Version 1.0.01.6 of the app makes it work on Galaxy devices running One UI 8. You can also expect some bug fixes and optimizations for smoother performance across all Galaxy devices.
This update follows a previous release, version 1.0.01.05, which introduced some meaningful improvements for gamers. Game Booster+ enabled slot-based key remapping for gamepads, a more flexible system that makes it easier to customize and switch between different control setups. The update also brought support for in-app GPU settings updates. Users no longer need to wait for system-level patches. GPU profiles can now be updated directly from within the app when new versions roll out.
The latest Game Booster+ update is rolling out to One UI 8 users via the Galaxy Store. With this release, the entire Good Lock suite of modules is up to date with Samsung’s newest custom software. Some apps still haven’t received their official One UI 8 updates, but they all work fine. Samsung will gradually update the remaining ones, adding new features and improving existing ones. We will keep you posted.
