Samsung SmartThings Now Supports More Than 250 Brands

Samsung’s SmartThings service lets you control smart devices from multiple brands in a single place. The company has recently expanded the list of supported brands to over 250. The best thing is that you don’t need to pay anything to enjoy the practicality of the smart home concept through SmartThings.
Samsung’s SmartThings simplifies smart home management
If you have lots of smart home products from different brands in your home, you usually need multiple apps to control them. Thanks to SmartThings, the platform can now monitor and control hundreds of smart home devices from more than 250 brands. That means you no longer need to switch between different apps for smart home management.
SmartThings’s capability is not just limited to turning smart home devices on or off. For example, you can also check the battery and adjust the suction power of your connected Bespoke AI Jet Lite vacuum cleaner. Furthermore, if you activate the “incoming call and message alert” feature, the platform will stop the vacuum cleaner when your phone receives a call or message.

SmartThings also offers automation tools like Routines to schedule tasks automatically. For example, you can set the air conditioner to turn on before you arrive home. Similarly, it lets you configure the porch light to turn on at 5 PM and off at 6 AM. Meanwhile, the Modes feature offers another level of convenience. For example, selecting “Focus Mode” can reduce the vacuum cleaner’s noise and play soft music on your Smart TV.
Thanks to the power consumption monitoring feature, SmartThings shows the electricity costs of smart home devices. You can also invite family members or housemates, letting them control smart devices. Moreover, beyond phones, tablets, and compatible smartwatches, you can access SmartThings on a Samsung Smart TV or a Bespoke AI Family Hub refrigerator.
“Samsung SmartThings is indeed worthy of being called a recommended application for smart home device users”, said Dedy Irvan, Tech Reviewer/Co-Founder Jagat Review. “SmartThings application support can be for various brands, and users do not need to bother opening and closing the application to control smart home devices.”
